Kızılelma UAV – BAYKAR

Bayraktar Kızılelma is a UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) developed by Baykar Makina, a Turkish company based in Istanbul. It is primarily used for reconnaissance and surveillance purposes, but can also be armed with missiles for offensive operations. The Bayraktar Kızılelma has been used in various conflicts, including the Syrian Civil War and the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

The CEO of Baykar Makina is Selçuk Bayraktar. He is also the son of the company’s founder, Professor Haluk Bayraktar. Selçuk Bayraktar holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the Middle East Technical University and a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Central Florida. He has been involved in the development and production of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) for over 20 years, and has played a key role in the success of Baykar Makina and the development of the Bayraktar UAV family.

The Bayraktar Kızılelma has been exported to some countries. Some of the countries that have purchased or have expressed interest in purchasing the UAV include:

Azerbaijan: Azerbaijan purchased Bayraktar Kızılelma UAVs in 2019 and used them in the 2020 Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, where they reportedly had a significant impact on the battlefield.

Ukraine: Ukraine has expressed interest in purchasing Bayraktar Kızılelma UAVs.

Pakistan: Pakistan has expressed interest in purchasing the Bayraktar Kızılelma UAVs.

Turkmenistan: Turkmenistan has expressed interest in purchasing Bayraktar Kızılelma UAVs.
